Recreation and Team Sports (RATS) is an outdoor sports and games
program for boys and girls who want to play outside all day long. We offer affordable, fun and moderately competitive activities
in a fun, supportive, creative and instructive environment. Kids of all ability levels are encouraged to enroll,
all they need is a willingness to participate.
Kids learn and play a variety of games, including basketball, baseball, touch
football, soccer, ping pong, European handball, and a wide array of alternative games. During "down time"
they enjoy chess, checkers, foosball, board games, silly talent competitions and more.
Program Director and Co-founder
Don Arreola-Burl has over 30 years experience operating recreation programs, coaching, and teaching physical education. RATS
is the fulfillment of his longtime dream of a creating a mixed-age, diverse, "old-school" summer program in a community
setting.
Come join us for a summer of healthy fun!
